How do animals survive the winter season? Our sheep are lucky because we take care of them all winter long. In this video we will look at what sheep need and how they are able to survive the cold winter months. The mother sheep with her baby lamb needs some extra-special food because her lamb drinks so much of her milk everyday. In one month's time he, Rasmus, the lamb has more than doubled his weight! So his mom needs more than just hay to eat, she needs pelets which give her more carbohydrates and proteens. What else do the sheep need on a daily basis?
